What is the Adult RAD Ballet Class?

RAD stands for the Royal Academy of Dance, a world-renowned classical ballet organization.

Our Adult RAD Grade 6 (Higher Grades) class is recommended for adult dancers who have been attending class consistently and are ready to explore more structured ballet training—at a comfortable, encouraging pace. No pressure, no competition—just great training and the joy of dancing.

If you’ve been taking ballet regularly and feel comfortable with basic barre and center work, Adult RAD Grade 6 (Higher Grades) is a wonderful next step. You’re always welcome to try the class, and we’re happy to help guide you—there’s no exam requirement unless you choose to pursue it later.

Adult RAD Ballet | Grade 6 (Higher Grades)

The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) is an internationally recognized classical ballet organization known for its structured, progressive, and dancer-centered approach to training.

Our Adult RAD Grade 6 (Higher Grades) class is designed for adult dancers who have been training consistently and are ready to deepen their understanding of classical ballet technique. Classes focus on alignment, strength, flexibility, musicality, and artistry in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

Feel free to join us, even if the classes are already underway!

Minimum enrollment of 6 dancers will need to be met in order to hold this class.

This is an 1.5-hour class, held twice a week on Mondays & Wednesdays, 11:00am – 12:30 pm, at our Deville St. studio location.

4-Week Session dates are as follows:
January 12 – February 4; Tuition due January 9.
February 9 – March 4; Tuition due February 6.
March 9 – April 1; Tuition due March 6.
April 13 – May 6; Tuition due April 3.
May 11 – May 20 (2 weeks only); Tuition ($97) due May 8.

PRE-PAID CLASS PRICING:
*This class does have an annual registration fee of $49.

The tuition for each session is based upon the number of class hours in which a student is enrolled per week. It is highly encouraged to take more than an hour per week to take advantage of reduced tuition rates (per hour) subsequently. The tuition rate per session stays the same regardless of attendance, school closures, or closures due to weather. Tuition is non-refundable, non-transferable, and not prorated for partial attendance. Annual tuition is payable in ten (10) monthly sessions. Students are not charged for the weeks the studio is closed for winter and spring break. These three weeks that there are no classes are omitted from the tuition calendar. Registration fee and tuition are due upon registration of each student. If a student registers in the last week of a session, payment will be due for the next monthly session as well. Classes missed are considered forfeited. Credit WILL NOT be given for classes missed due to illness, vacation, school closings, or acts of nature such as inclement weather.
There is a $49.00 registration fee and a $39.00 registration fee for each additional family member. “Family member’ meaning – living in the same household. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration fee is due at the time of registration. This is valid from August 19, 2024 through the 2025 Summer Session. New students registering for Summer 2025 will be charged a fee of $25.
