Interested in joining the Competition Troupe?
The CDC’s Competition Troupe is for those students who wants to dance more than in the studio environment. Competition Troupe offers members enjoy being on stage more and being around other performers and teammates, giving themselves a chance to nurture their competitive spirit. Their current routines consists of Acro and Musical Theater, but could go further as the program is still in its early stages. Although the experience includes dancing against other dance schools, the Competition Troupe experience is for improving oneself and enjoying dance by going through the challenges of competing.
Competition Troupe members will be dedicating around 2 hours of practice a week and will also be competing in 2-3 local or regional competitions. At the end of the dance school year, they also get to perform their routines at the Spring Festival of Dance for this coming year.
