Do you follow a dance syllabus?
Coastal Dance Centre follows the syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dance but we are not contractually bound to it. We will always reserve the right to operate our dance program in the best interest of our students.

Do you compete?
Yes. We do encourage students who excel in the art form and who want to test their skills against the best; this allows them the opportunity to be exposed at various competitions and have the opportunity to vie for recognition and scholarships. We have successfully competed in major ballet events such as the Youth America Grand Prix, World Ballet Competition, the American Ballet Competition and the Royal Academy of Dance Dance Challenge. Beginning 2017-2018, we will offer the opportunity for our recreational dancers to participate in competitions in the Myrtle Beach area through the Coastal Dance Centre Competition Troupe.
